This is an easy lesson for teachers if you and your students don't have a lot of energy and need to take up 50 minutes!
Start by handing out stacks of paper squares to all of the students so they can write English words on them. You'll need a box or hat you can put all of these squares into. You'll have a lot.
Go through the slides and have the students write down English words for your descriptions. They can use dictionaries to find more words.
Once you have a bunch of words in the box, put it on a chair in the front of the room. Break the class into 4-5 smaller groups, give them a bunch of scratch paper, and then start the game. Have 1 student from each group come up and pull a card from the box, and then the teacher will turn on a timer for a minute, and all the teams will try to guess the English word that the one student is drawing. Just like Pictionary, they can't use words or symbols.
Halfway through the game, it starts to get a little boring, especially if they choose the same words they've used before. At this point, tell the students that whoever is drawing now has to draw with THEIR EYES CLOSED. The pictures get funnier and the students have a lot more fun.
This game could easily take the entire 50 minutes and leave you with enough paper squares with words on them to use for other classes.
