My co-teacher has asked me to create key words and phrases ppt's for each lesson. This is shown at the introduction of the unit to teach the students the words that they may not know, that they will hear or see in the Speaking/Listening section of the text.

This should take about 5-10 mins to go through, asking students to guess the Korean meaning, discussing different parts of the pictures and reading the sentences aloud.
"It's better to have tried and failed, than never to have tried at all!"
Teach this to your students... they'll thank you for it later!

Here are my lessons 1 and 2 for chapter 5.

I haven't finished making lesson 3 (on remembering advice yet e.g. I'll keep that in mind) in which I intend to do all of the listening activities as review.

I found a lot of the materials in different files in the old thread.

Hopefully these are useful to someone.

First 3 attachments are lesson 1, second 2 and lesson 2.

I'll add lesson 3 when I finish it.

Here's the PPT I made for my A-level class to introduce the key vocab and work through the listening part. They always find it dull, so I like to liven it up a bit.

At the end of the PPT is a video from HIMYM of Robin Sparkles' "Let's go to the mall". I included it as a filler, but you can add teaching value to it by asking the kids to listen carefully for something that she will regret (not doing her homework, going shopping instead of doing homework, dating boys even though her dad told her not to), and something she is planning to do (go to the mall, go shopping, buy XYZ). They must report back at the end of the class, and then they can go.

I've also made a bunch of bingo cards for a 'regrets' Bingo speaking game that I'll teach next week. Students take turns reading any square they want from the card, but changing it into a regret. They have to use the right form - I shouldn't have ____, I should have____. For the bonus center square they must make up their own in the form "I regret ___ing ___". Depending on the level of the class and time, you can choose for them to complete 1,3, or 5 rows to win. They go nuts for bingo so it should be a hit.

Finished my class for the 3rd and final part of this chapter.

I've officially planned out my entire textbook now for grade 3 - such a sense of satisfaction.

Attached is the PP and the worksheet.
