Brain Teasers
« on: September 10, 2008, 03:04:00 pm »
I collected some brain teasers online from various sources and compiled them onto a powerpoint slideshow.  I spent a few minutes trying to brief them on what a brain teaser is my translation of "teaser" is not exactly correct but Its the best I could conceive.  I just walked them through each type of brain teaser and helped them as much as I could by giving hints.  We completed as a class all of the brain teasers on the powerpoint together, and then I handed out the brainteaser worksheet to each group.  They needed some help with a few of the words in some of the questions but I was able to help them with those as I walked around the room.  The first question about the family reunion was best solved by drawing a tree diagram to illustrate each position in the family.  The classes really enjoyed the challenge, and afterwards I had them come to the front of the class and give the answers to the questions.
