Review of L13 + intro for part 1 of chapter 14 - key words and expressions.
(used good quality pics so you should be able to copy paste them for games etc without pixelization)

Period 1: I started with Nonni's vocab review, added numerous terms and put on a What's Missing game and couple rounds of the Matching game. REMOVED

For period two, I have a game where students must identify a person from a line-up using a sentence describing them.  Each person has a letter.  The teams write down the letters on their whiteboard, eventually spelling out a word, like jacket, etc.  In the final rounds, they have to unscramble the letters to get the word. Attached are the Introductory ppt and a Matching game.

Intro ppt has the key words and phrases in both english and korean. The photos used are ones straight from the book periods one and two.

I first had them remove one character and clothes from their books, they then placed them on their desk, and we told a story. About waking up in the morning getting dressed and ready for school.

Matching game uses the pictures from the book and the words. I wanted to begin to get my kids to connect the pictures with the words with clothing. Each time the students teams picked a number they had to hold up the corresponding picture cut out from the in book game to match the pictures/words.

This is a REVIEW for Lessons 8-13. We won't be covering 14 on our final exam next week. Sorry, I couldn't add it to the Review page because it doesn't exist. The worksheet follows along with the ppt. My third graders are pretty high level so there is a fair bit of writing.

Snowman cutout and clothes colour.
Since it's close to a holiday I like to have the class do a craft during a lesson (if it fits). It as well gets to be displayed around the classroom, to make it more festive and look amazing when the other teachers use the classroom for staff meetings.

Going to have students cut, colour and write sentences on the back pertaining to the lesson key expressions.

I got the outlines from www.daniellesplace.com/html/winter_crafts.html and put them together on one peice of paper (gotta save those trees). There are other snowman outfits on her site and other nifty things for purchase. This was one of her free collection, and all credits go to the original author.

Pass the Ball Game...when the music stops the student holding the ball must look at the picture and say "Put on your...." the class responds "okay" and tells the student "Good luck" before the music starts again. (Music and template borrowed from another poster)

Elimination Game
I just modified this ppt from another user and it worked great- especially if you're a sucker for hearing "One more time!" at the end of your games.

All students start off standing then one by one going down the rows they finish the sentence 'put on your ____' with one of the words on the screen. When you click on the word they chose either and X or an O will appear, if it's an X they are out, an O, they live on. Things got TENSE!

I kept 'put on your _____' on the blackboard as a reference throughout the game.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread, especially the vocab presentations. Making those is always so tedious.

A game I used with a lesson like this before is a dressing race. Choose two students, have them take off their coat/gloves/scarf etc and put them at the front of the room, maybe on a desk. Then they go to the back and wait for the teacher to say "Put on your.... scarf!". Then they run and try to be the first to get dressed.

I haven't checked the flashcards for this lesson, but you could probably have the class say the sentence, as long as the two runners can't see them.

Made this into a speaking game for Period 2. It's great for this two-week period where no one wants to do anything.

Students play by teams. One team member is the one who gets dressed. The other students tell them what items to wear by choosing cards/papers (4 items is a good number. You could use the flashcards that come with the textbook, but I made some extra slides to print out and crumple up and put in a bag so the students couldn't see what they were choosing).

Time each team. The fastest team is the winner. If you have extra time you can have a bonus round where one student tries to beat the record time. My students had a blast (especially when a boy had to put on a skirt)!

You'll have to bring in your own clothes if your school doesn't have them.  The activity takes about 15-20 minutes.
