Prepositions
« on: April 27, 2014, 08:55:48 PM »
Taught for my first year technical high school students.

First part goes through some prepositions, had then write them down and then review them near the end of the PPT. Then I gave them a worksheet to practise.

One of my more tamer lessons, better suited for my quiet classes that prefer sit down work.

Thanks for these materials.  I have to throw together another grammar lesson and test next week for some of my HS classes.  Adjusted the worksheet for two levels.   Easier and more difficult.  But still very simple.

The pictures help a lot when putting together writing tests.  Keeps the students from locking on what they want to say but can not figure out the word.

I'm planning on having the picture of the living room up on the overhead so students can see a larger version with color during the test.

Thanks so much for the files! I think this will work really well for my middle schoolers who will be reviewing prepositions in a couple of weeks. Your powerpoint is very basic, but direct, to the point.

Thanks again.

Were you able to make this last the full 50 minutes?
