Hello all,

Has anyone done any fun lessons with food? Not necessarily using food, but games/activities and such with food, perhaps ordering food?

This week I'm doing one about creating an advertisement for a food item. If you run a search on the site, you'll find a lot of material on how to teach food. (Probably too much.)

I did a restaurant themed lesson and a cooking themed lesson.

The restaurant lesson the students had to make their own menu and order from it

The cooking lesson I pre-taught cooking vocab and they had to create their own recipe for their favorite korean food (they really enjoyed this)

Yes, one time in my middle school I brought a gas stove in and made pan cakes from scratch as an English cooking lesson. It was the end of the term and the kids loved it :)
