This is a music lesson that I put together for my open class.All the files are attached and the lesson plan can be adjusted to fit your student's level of English.Enjoy!

For students with a high English level,here are different PowerPoint presentations.The PowerPoint presentations are not all the same so pick one that will interest your students as well as is appropriate for their English level.

Just curious if there were any questions or raised eyebrows for the lyric, "I get high with a little help from my friends." I love this song and would be stoked to do this lesson if not for that.

music lessons always seem to go down a treat in my afterschool classes. I also did Beatles 'here comes the sun' and used it to talk about how the weather makes you feel :-)

I wondered the same thing, but I doubt they would understand what that means...
If you wanted to, just say that "high" means "happy".... problem solved

Yikes! Thank you for pointing this out.In my moment of haste and translating I must have made a typographical error.
We all know the lyrics are, 'I'll get by with a little help from my friends" so feel free to edit where necessary.
Let me know how this lesson goes for your students.I really do appreciate the feedback.
