Thank you for sharing! Minor problem, but I believe the expression is
‘Let’s –hear –it –for’…. ‘Hear’. You are asking people to cheer for something, to make some noise for something so that you can hear it.

I did a lesson on fashion in a middle school. We spent 10 mins on fashion concepts before asking the students to design make and display their garments. I supplied old newspaper, scissors and a stapler, they absolutely loved it.
