I stole this from last year and edited it a bit. Honestly though you can probably still remove some of the furnishings, but we had fun as they tried to make the Korean names sound English when they didn't know  what the answer was.
Thanks dizzl.

I changed the game into a P1 intro PPT for new vocab and sentences.

Finally, I played a game like "I spy".

I said a color of an object and kids had to guess what it was saying:

"There's a/There are ___________ in the classroom."

Correct answers got a stamp.

You can use this as a speaking or listening game. I edited from another book's game. Here are the rules I made up for it.

1. Work in partners or small groups.

  2. As each new picture comes on the screen the students must say, “There's a _____ in the _____.

3. Each group needs to pick their answer and write the number on a white board.

4. If their answer is correct they get a point.

My co-teacher told me to make a story for our open class  but I did it without complaint   So here's an Adventure Time themed story I made.  Would also be a great warm-up.

Thanks arranteacher, the kids went nuts for it, and they are the more lethargic grade.
Corrected a sentence leftover from the previous lesson and a few animation ordering.

Here's a listening game. Split the class into small teams and say the sentence once. Then each team decides which room you are talking about and raises their hands showing the number.

If your students know more vocabulary or if you want to make it more difficult, just make up your own sentences. Mine are in the slide notes.

Day 1: Started with this House Tour video I found on Youtube, edited it a bit and added subtitles.
I used dizzl's vocab list and memory game.

Day 2: Started with this video about future glass technology. (You could use this in L1 too, since it goes with the future themed Look&Listen.) Afterwords, I asked the kids to name some of the things in the video made of the smart glass (stove, car, phone, fridge, ect.)
Game: Pictionary with two sets of cards. One person from each team has to draw--one chooses a room, one chooses a card, the person who answers has to say "There is a ____ in the ____."

Day 3: Speaking Relay Game (adapted from dizzl's vocab list)

Day 4: Writing Game (adapted again from the vocab list + other room pictures)

Day 5: Spot the Difference intro based on Orange Caramel's "My Copycat" video.
During class, the kids split into teams to make a candy house and had to present it to the class.

Quick PPT for period 1 to learn/review the difference between "There's.." and "There are.."  Some pics and examples of sentences to emphasize the difference between singular and plural use.
