Simple connect 4 game whole class game. Click the double arrows to use more vocabulary.
Simple Word shark game. It's like hang man. Be sure to write down the secret words for your reference before you begin the game

Here are my materials:
Period 1: A "K-pop love story" originally by a user named Loops for motivation (I have the students take turns reading aloud), and a ppt with scaffolded practice (change out my pictures on slides 7 and 8, of course) plus a pass the ball game. Actually, it's two balls, and I use two cheapo toy phones i found in a Daiso-type place, one red, one blue). REMOVED
Period 2: Warm-up is another story that I didn't make, with the Avengers, REMOVED a fill-in for the dialogue from the textbook, and an Information Gap activity in a telephone conversation. REMOVED
Period 3: A nice warm-up I made with scrambled words and sentences with a phone theme. REMOVED A new sleeping elephants template (not mine) with lesson-specific sentences. REMOVED
Period 4: "Find the Mistake" a series of phone conversation with a worksheet to accompany. Students find the mistakes in each slide and correct them on their handout. REMOVED
Period 5: A Kakao Talk themed quiz game. REMOVED
Period 6: Students will create their own apps for the smartphone, after watching an old-ish Yun-a Haptic commercial and an amazing T-mobile phone from the future. REMOVED
My CoT really dislikes the period 3 songs, as do I, so we'll probably listen to Busy Line" by Rose Murphy, for which I made a PPT version some time ago. REMOVED
I also have a "Sentence Relay" with some cool sentence graphics that I might do instead of the Information Gap. REMOVED
I'll have to put videos and sounds in a second post.

Here is an Unscramble game that starts with words and moves on to sentences. You can use this as a group game with whiteboards or individually in notebooks. Thanks to the original creator!

riordaaf ~ Your battleship game rocks! I changed it a little bit to adapt it for my students. I changed the people they call to characters (like Elsa, SpongeBob, etc.)
My co-teacher had them draw their little ships in on the sheet, which was a good idea. My students really liked the game! We ran out of time though and couldn't play the whole thing. Mostly because having them choose their squares and write the sentences out~Ex. 'May I speak to Elsa? Let's go skating.' etc. took foreverrrrr haha So I suggest typing in some sentence starters into the worksheet.
During the last period that we had, my co-teacher and I just had them write the words: Elsa, skating. Instead of writing out the sentence. Much quicker. So if you want them to write the sentences out, make sure you have at least a solid 20 minutes to explain and play the game.
Also attached is a banana phone game I changed a bit from another thread but didn't get to use. I had real bananas to use and pass around instead of passing dice or balls. Oh well.
And a wordsearch from another thread that I modified just a bit for this lesson. Not all the words are relevant, but close enough. Fair warning: this wordsearch is kind of hard;)

Period 4 or 5 - Missions Impossible Wall Dictation. Students love it and it's entertaining to see them running around trying to remember everything in 25 sec. :D
Review Worksheet - found bits and pieces in other posts and reformatted it in PPT form for easier access.
Thanks to all the original creators.

Pass the Bomb Game -- good for speaking/reading practice.
Got the template from someone else (thanks!), but edited it for this lesson.
Like Pass the Ball, but instead of the student speaking when the bomb goes off, every student that gets the bomb must speak. If it goes off in a student's hand, their team loses a point. Each team starts off with 5 points (or however many you want).
I used this game for speaking, so I told my students what the sentence was before it came on the screen. I practiced with them a few times before I started the bomb. This game was super successful and the kids got really into it, especially my students that never participate. I was really surprised and proud of them. It's funny when they speak slowly on purpose to try and make another team lose a point, then it ends up blowing up on them! Lots of fun. Thanks to whoever made this :)

Here's a spy game that I put together...I modified a powerpoint that someone else made. The last slide should be displayed during the game so that the students can look at it if they need help.

For this reading activity, I printed the file and cut apart the eight boxes and taped them around the room. I had the students read each dialogue and write a sentence for each one like: (person 1) and (person2) will go (____)ing (__time__). The answers are on the last page. I'm including a pdf for ease of printing and an MS Word file in case anyone wants to edit it. The names might confuse some students.
For the writing ppt, there are picture slides that the students will sook at to write a dialogue. I used the Patty and Pororo slide as an example. I printed the other four picture slides and put them around the room while leaving the dialogue template slide on the screen. (I would suggest that if you do this activity that way, to put the paper copies up a little above the students' heads (since there are so few papers) so that one of them doesn't just stand in the way like they did in my first class to use it). You could also do it all together as a ppt checking the answers as you go.
