Innovation through poverty
« on: May 07, 2015, 01:42:46 PM »
I made a lesson on poverty in Africa that can lead to product inventions that are aimed at helping people in need.

Firstly we will talk about Africa and the problem many countries face, then I will introduce them to 3 amazing products.

We will talk about the reasons these products were invented, and how they benefit the communities.

They will then design their own product and present. I think this lesson takes around 3-4 weeks.

1 week introduction, 2 weeks preparing, final week present.

(My students are gr 2, boys technical high school)
