Here's a lesson I made about Northern Ireland. It's intended for high level students as the section about The Troubles in Northern Ireland is a little hard. If you are teaching this lesson to intermediate or low level students, I recommend severely shortening or simplifying the section about The Troubles and only doing the first 2 pages of the handout. For lower level classes, instead of doing The Troubles in detail, get the students to draw comic strips to illustrate the Giant's Causeway myth instead. A good way to simplify or illustrate the section about The Troubles would be to show The Cranberries music video 'Zombie' at
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ejga4kJUts or the video Aoife McArdle made to U2's song 'Every Breaking Wave' which you can find on YouTube at
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYVEik7Lvc4 (5 minute version) or
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSLw9tf2NcQ (13 minute version). (The Aoife McCardle video contains strong language and violence so you might only want to show it to older students or check it's ok with your co-teacher first.)
If there's any time left at the end, play a hangman team game using words from the lesson.
Enjoy teaching!
