Zodiac Signs Lesson
« on: April 18, 2011, 06:41:58 PM »
Hand out the Zodiac Signs worksheet. Have students write down three words which they think describe their character.

Explain a little about history of Zodiac signs (similar to blood type, tells us about our personality--except based on birthday, from ancient Romans, named after constellations, names are Latin). Then, go over each Zodiac sign's pronunciation and have students raise their hand if it's their birthday. Pass out the vocabulary sheet and go over some of the words.

Have students fill out Part Two of their worksheet, then Part Three (pairwork interviews).

Talk for a few minutes as a class about whether or not Zodiac signs are accurate in describing people's personalities, and how they compare to blood type.

Used this today, thanks.  I also had them try to guess which sign I was based on my personality.
