In this PowerPoint, there are 5 games for students at intermediate-advanced levels to play. Don't play all of them at once. Choose just one for one class and another for another class:
Winner of 100,000 USD for Three Years
The Man of the Year
All-Expenses Paid Trip to Anywhere in the World
Ambassador of the ROK
Three Wishes
How to Play (in a nutshell):(1) Divide the students into groups and have each group select one member to be the representative contestant.
(2) Select a panel of judges from each group and have this panel decide on the qualities that they are looking for, and the questions that they will ask each contestant.
(3) As the judges are discussing this, have the rest of the groups devise reasons for why their selected contestant deserves the prize (e.g. the honor of "Man of the Year," or the honorary title of "Ambassador of the ROK").
(4) After 10 minutes have elapsed, have the contestants called to the front of the class and provide their reasons for why they deserve the prize.
(5) Judges ask the contestants questions.
(6) The winner is declared!
These activities were inspired by the book
