Zelda Chest Game - In the End (Linkin Park)
« on: September 11, 2016, 07:44:06 pm »
Good evening
I have a Zelda game I put some serious time into making, but it's very simple if you want to modify it for different classes.

Teaching a grade with music has been a challenge, but this ppt addresses the beginning of the song In the End, with example sentences for key vocab. I was planning on doing the whole song, but my students were urging me to move on to "Let it Go."

Anyways. If you plan on using the ppt for the lesson read on, otherwise just download the game and have fun modify it to your taste.

For using the game for the music lesson, I had the students find the line with the word in and read just that line. I can think of other ways to do it (like a mystery bag with highlighted colors on the key words; just make sure to account for lines that have 2 keywords).

Have the group choose a word, tell you the color as well, and read the line off the sheet.

Estimated play time 30-35 minutes.

As always, many blessings on your teaching adventures.
You are amazing. You are beautiful. You are loved.Your life has purpose. Your Salvation was bought at a high price, but given freely. Trust in Jesus, the one who loved you enough to pay it all, and you will be saved. He loves you enough to conquer the grave, He is risen, and alive!
