Haha, after clicking and seeing the first few picture I thought that Blackpool was your hometown!! Usually, photos of Cornwall will make me feel homesick. But the main one is December. I haven't been home for the last three years and love the feeling that is around for the whole of December. The weather, the bite in the air, the smell of a real Christmas tree and everyone being nice to each other. Just the whole buildup to Christmas. Korea just doesn't do that Christmas feeling and it's shit. Not this year though....
I don't admit this often, but i'm from the lovely city of Birmingham. I think this is the best time of year back home! It seems like everyone turns off the 'knobhead' switch and become tolerable. The German Christmas Market pops up, you get robbed blind paying 7 quid for a Stein, have a Bratwurst, freeze your nips off and stumble home. Brilliant. It's a shame that Korea doesn't celebrate Christmas in the same way...
The salt & vingegar smell on proper hot chips while you battle with over sized seaguls, and those terrible doughnuts with a brew in a stryofoam cup sat watching the waves in your car.
Born in Handsworth (another thing I don't admit often! ) and moved to Sutton C'field a few years back! What about yourself?I think the beer and hotdogs were the only reason people went! I agree, I've been slated for the accent by fellow Brits but I always make sure people know we have more canals than Venice!
Apparently, my school thinks it's an inappropriate picture, and NetGuard pops up instead. I wonder if Net means Internet or Native English Teacher?
Ouch Handsworth! Yeah not the nicest of places haha! Saying that though I lived in Acocks green when I was really really young. However I lived towards oldbury way till I was 15, close to West Brom, tbh I think its classed as Sandwell not Birmingham. Yeah my accent took a hammering for a while too, however I think I am losing it as I have been out of Birmingham almost 9 years now! But whenever I go back I pick it straight back up its crazy lol
Orange creams and strawberry creams always the first to go.
