I'm trying to set up an escape room for my students for winter camp, but buying a lot of locks would cost too much. I've tried looking for a PPT or just an interactive game or flash file for computer, where I can set a combination lock and get the students to try and crack it using clues. So far I haven't found much.
Does anyone know where I could download something like this?

Okay, I found a video that showed how to make one. If anyone wants an upload let me know.

That does sound interesting, if you could upload it, that would be great! ~~ Seems like it could be very useful :)

Hey, I tried to upload my file today, but there's something about the upload folder being full.
I'll try and get it on here as soon as I can.

This is the one I made. I just copied the Visual basic code to get it to work so I can't easily explain how to change the safe combination.
Here's the video I got the information from originally:

By the way, I linked sounds to the buttons and a sound when you open the lock. I don't know if they embedded in the PPT, but if anyone needs me to add the sounds just let me know.

Hi. I couldn't get your version to work. When I clicked on the pad on slide 1 it didn't change slides.

Fixed now. I thought I saved recently but the file I uploaded here originally had a typo in the code. This one works now. Enjoy!

Oh thanks, that's much neater! Is there an easy way to change the safe code? I want to do a different code for each group.

Yes. Simply change the 4 digits in the shape just outside of the slide.

By the way, I also made one for different types of lock. They're kind of amateur, but I sort of guessed my way through it. Any way to clean them up would be great.

It's okay. I messed around with the one you edited rusnakcreative and made these two variations. Thanks again for your help. You made it a lot easier for me.

There is also an app called Locks by Breakout EDU for iOS that offers a range of different locks for your iPad or phone. Maybe not ideal for certain school contexts but just an FYI. It does cost a few bucks but I bought it to use in combination with that company's escape the room style games (rather,,,break into the box games)
