This is a lesson I did with my middle school and high school students. It's for practicing the function of introducing people. It's best for intermediate learners.

Premise: The Avengers need a new member.
Rules: Students get into pairs.
          Each pair gets a character card (see word doc).
          They introduce their character to the class.
          Teacher chooses top 3 introductions (based on accuracy and presentation).
          Students vote for the new Avenger.

Note: Students will probably need help with certain vocabulary words on the cards.
         It's best to laminate the character cards. They will not last long otherwise.
