Songs like - Lemon Tree (by Fool's Garden)

My kids in 4th (and in all grades actually) love this song and I taught it for one extra class at the end of the semester we had. I didn't finish, but I will later. We use this song as a filler. They love it.

But I wanted to know if there were any other English songs you know with this deep penetration into (kids) society as this song? Almost any kid likes it and knows it so well!

What other songs are like this?

Frozen's Let it Go...is the first thing I think of but I'm not sure what learning potential is in it...
Also, amazingly, a lot of kids know Micheal Jackson, so some of his biggest hits you can use.
But you can just teach them songs with song close sheets. I created a thread for it awhile back ( http://www.waygook.org/index.php/topic,75237.msg465587.html#msg465587), most kids like learning new songs if they like the beat.

Just thought of another one...the song from Zootopia by Shakira..."Try Everything"
You could even pair it with a Zootopia lesson.

Elementary level kids also enjoy the Moana soundtrack. "How Far I'll Go" is a popular one
