I've used a lot of  resources from here, so it's time to give back!
Here is a lesson I did with 6th grade on countries around the world.
It starts with a video and discussion about what people eat for breakfast around the world.
Then some practice with country names, nationalities and languages.
Next there is a fun "stereotype" quiz.
The last activity is a running dictation using penpal letters. Students work in groups to find the answers to questions about their penpals. Hope this is useful to someone! Enjoy!
