I wanted a couple of panic activities for this lesson in case of extra time, so here we go!1. Another board game option, ye olde RPS game!Directions:-Play in pairs, one student starts at A, one starts at B.-Take turns saying the vocabulary, "it's a _______." If it's right the player can keep moving.-When the two players meet, RPS. Winner proceeds, loser back to the start.-Get to the other player's start square to win!***Fonts in this are KG Blank Space Solid and KG Miss Kingergarten, both free I think? Great for elementary worksheets. Anywho, I realized they may look jacked up without being downloaded already, so I included a comic sans'd option in the attachments.2. Grab the vocab card set-Play in pairs (or other numbers if it would leave one student isolated)-Each group/pair gets one set of cards (there's two sets per page on the printable to save paper)-Class asks "What's this?" or "What's that?"-Teacher says "It's a ________!"-Kids try to grab the right card first.-Winner has the most cards at the end.Boy I'm gonna feel silly about making a card set if there's already a vocab card printable/tearable for this lesson...I haven't taught it yet and don't have my text or guide to check. But hey, more options!****Edit: There IS a printable flash card option from the CD-rom! It worked great for grab the vocab, so I'm adding the sheet (L2 Play Together 2) to these attachments.Happy teaching ya'll!
