Introductory PPT with vocab & key expressions. Be sure to check this post every now & again as I'll be editing it if/when I make more files for the later parts of the lesson.

All Periods Intro: Pretty self explanatory. (Ideal for all periods)

Four Corners game: Instructions included in the PPT. (Ideal for the first or second period)

Connect 4 game: Divide the class into 2 teams (Yellow VS Red), students say the expression "______, please." in order to place their teams colour marker in the square. (Ideal for the first or second period)

Lesson 3.1 - New words PPT plus a slide to keep on the screen during the game from the book (my kids are really low level so the book game is perfect for them.  But you can use the slide to play a different/harder version of the game).

Lesson 3.2 - Robot Game - *credit to the original maker.  I just added in the book pictures.  Directions are on the PPT... the students find a partner and play RPS.  The winner is the robot master and the loser is the robot.  The master has 30 seconds (or so) to say commands and the robot has to act it out.   The students usually have a fun time playing this game.

pop up pirate game for reviewing lessons 1-3. you have to buy the actual game that goes along with this ppt. totally worth it though. eats up about 30 minutes, so I recommend doing about 10 minutes of review before starting the game.

Key expressions with korean translations and a little test at the end to check they understand. There isn't a massive amount of practise because my students are pretty quick so you may need to add some more.

I also did a drawing relay game, where teams sit in a line with a mini whiteboard each. The teacher whispers a phrase the the kids at the back of the line, they then draw a picture, and show it to the next person, pass the pen to them and they then draw a picture etc. The person at the front of the line shouts out the answer, fastest team wins a point. Person at the back goes to the front and everyone moves back a space so everyone has a chance to speak. The kids absolutely love this!

I did the period 1 textbook game too, but changed it slightly and had students in teams, quickest team to all do the action wins a point.

Can I just tell you how much I love you right now! I downloaded the same activity that's on the 4th grade page, and it was terrific!! So, I thought I'd create one for 3rd grade, buttttt, computer shut down and I hadn't saved it, and for some reason, there was no recovery mode.

I thought I'd check to see if there was one in the 3rd grade, and here it is!!!

Thank you! This worked really well with the 4th grade, and I'm hoping for the same success with the 3rd graders.

Many thanks!

Hello
Here are some materials I have made for this lesson
Characters for the show time - laminate and cut out as 'puppets' for the students to use after learning the showtime.  Students can do the roleplay in groups of 3or 4 and then rotate the puppets and repeat, and again and again.
Some picture flashcards and some key sentence cards to use on the board.  Please note that I put the word on the picture flashcards at the top of the page to make it easier to see over other students heads.
A smaller set of the picture flashcards for group games.
There is a full transcript of the CD with translation in Korean (also from the CD)
This year I made a small booklet for the students in my reading club using some of the material from the CD - with Korean translations for most of it.

Intro
Heavily borrowed ideas and games from other people, but I think my PPTs are pretty tidy so I'm uploading.

Really like the game.

But as an FYI, I wouldn't recommend putting the word "sit" phonetically as "싣/싵". 시 will sound more like "she" or "shi", so "싣/싵" could have them pronouncing it as "shit".

A TPR memory game and an action song

My students' loved this song.
The last picture of this video has the Japanese's rising sun flag. Just pause the video before it gets to that part.
