This is a "Pass the Dice" game I modified for my students to practice recognizing the alphabet. My coteacher and I decided to cover the alphabet before we started the book, so we used this as a review for the 3rd period.
You could have all of your students line up and do it as one group, but our classes are huge this year so we just had them do it in the groups they already had. So we had 6 groups of 4 or 5 students. This helped make sure that everyone got a chance to participate a lot more often too, so it worked out ok.
