3.1:  Listening = Simon Says game
On the PPT there is a slide with all the commands which I usually leave on the screen while playing the game.  Make sure to go over and practice the gestures for each command.

3.2:  Speaking = Robot Game
*Credit to the original maker of this game.  I just added some pronunciation guides (my students are really low level).  The directions for the game are on the PPT.

**Also the Talk Talk script and picture are on the PPT

A basic coin flick game I grabbed from the previous version of the textbook. I swapped a couple of the boxes with "Good." so it's totally applicable to this years version. Thanks to the original creator.

Intro
Heavily borrowed ideas and games from other people, but I think my PPTs are pretty tidy so I'm uploading.

My folder so far:

-heads up 6 up (adapted from the original game ppt). Basically print the picture cards, choose 6 students to come to the front, have the rest of the class put their heads down with their thumbs up, and have the students at the front choose 1 student to put their thumbs down. Afterwards have evryone put their heads up and those with their thumbs down should stand. Hand one of the printed pictures to each student at the front. Have the other chosen students try to guess who put their thumb down by saying the key expression related to the picture. If they're right, they can switch places. If wrong, they sit down.

First period:
I just did Bingo, since I was being lazy.

Second, I played a Robot twist of Pass the Ball.  You can either do it the way I did (person with the ball chooses a friend), or use two balls and have them play rock, paper, scissors straight from there.  Feel free to add silly tasks for them to do. :D

Third, I used the Reading Board Game.  Keep in mind you'll need dice for this game.  You can ask you teacher or try to find them yourself.  Kids normally love this one.

Fourth, Pokemon Telepathy.  Pretty self explanatory!  Here's a link to Google drive since it was too big to upload here.

This is my take on Lesson 3.2. Since this is the first day students will be coming back to school after COVID-19, I have some intro housekeeping stuff for the kids.

I wanted to play a four corners game with them, but since movement in the classroom is restricted, I made a different version called "two-square" except students can stand up or sit down to make their choices. Ties in very nicely with the lesson. The complete directions are in the ppt in the "NOTES" section.

Hey everyone. This is the PPT I made for lesson 3 online class. I made similar PPTs for lessons 1 and 2, so I will just write here what I wrote on the posts for the previous lessons. This PPT introduces the the key words key words and expressions, has practice dialogue, and then the sounds and letters. It has my voice over with royalty free music from bensounds.com.

Native teachers: you can download it and delete my voice and record your voice to put in its place. My voice is on the right speaker on each slide, the music is on the left speaker on the first slide and it plays on a loop through the entire presentation.

Korean English teachers: you are welcome to use this PPT with my voice for your school.

If you want to make this into a video. you can use the export feature to convert it to a mp4, however, that feature is only if you have an Office subscription.
