Looking for a TEFL Position in southern South Korea
« on: March 22, 2018, 08:17:32 pm »
I'm already in Korea, and interested in teaching middle or high school students. (University students would be wonderful, if possible.) Preferably with shorter working hours (I'm working 9-10 hours daily now, teaching 8-9 classes a day). I'm looking for something that's no more than 7 hours daily, with fewer classes. I'm flexible about location, but I would prefer the southern areas.

I'd usually recommend jlp, but epik just took over recruiting. Still good location but epik sucks. Hagwons only sure way to get placed here now or city hall/after school jobs.

Are you still looking? If you're interested in a suburban/rural spot in Jeollanamdo and are prepared to start in a couple of weeks, send me an email (megan@canconx.com)! Middle or high is possible if you don't mind a county :)

Will you still be recruiting for that province in the future or will people have to go through only EPIK?
I can see.  I can see.  I can see....

As of right now, the August positions will be hired through EPIK. Though that was the plan for April and we are helping out so *fingers crossed* it could be true in the future as well.
