Nice one.  I was just thinking I'd like to do a lesson on this after some of my best students were confusing those words during sports day and our field trip to an amusement park.

I love all of this material.  The main powerpoint I'm attaching is from three different authors.  I can't take credit for any of this.  I'm just combining a lot of material.  Korean students are always mixing up bored vs boring, scared vs. scary, and fun vs. funny.  So if you try this lesson your Korean teachers might like you...

Love this one.  I always think people are so humble when they constantly say, "I am boring".

Thank you! Please drill it over and over and over again. If you can get the distinction to be second nature to them, you've basically handed the teacher who'll eventually get saddled with teaching them passive forms a free pass.

Okay I was lucky last week and when I was looking for a movie to show my summer camp on the last day of camp I noticed that the people who did work on the Inside Out movie covered the differences between fun and funny and scared and scary.  I'm really glad because I knew I needed more examples for scared and scary.  So here is yet another update!  Should be useful for camp!

Thank you for the materials. I modified the Simpsons game to include the answers and corrected some grammatical errors (random capitalization of common nouns). I also removed the questions about teasing and "make fun of" because I wouldn't teach that material from the PPT.
