For 8.2, I put together this PPT including: spelling practice for numbers 1-12, a brief memory game warmer, and Pass the Ball Birthday Edition.

Attached:
New words + key expressions worksheet (with Korean pronunciations)

Lesson 8 PPT (covers 8.1 + 8.2):

Warm Up - link to a numbers song on Youtube

Practice - key expressions practice (with Korean pronunciations)

Game 8.1 - students ask the teacher, "How old are you?"  They listen to the answer and hold up the correct number of fingers.  After playing a couple rounds of that, you can move on to actions.  They listen to the answer and perform an action (i.e. if they hear "seven", then they clap once; "eight" is jump once).

Talk! Talk! - script for the Talk Talk section and the pictures (in order to model the activity for the students).

Game 8.2 - pretty much explained on the PPT...students get a card with an age on it.  They play RPS and complete the dialogue.  Then they change cards (with the student they were talking to).   After talking to three people they sit down.  Once all students are finished, the teacher rolls two dice and the student(s) with the same numbered card gets a point.  The cards are included on the PPT.

lesson 8 part 1: Bunny bomb game. I pass around two balls (or a ball and a big soft die) each kid gets to say "I am __ years old", then I click on the card that matches the column and row. I didn't play this as a team game, or rather they were all in one big team. they just had to collect as many carrots as they could without the bunny eating them all!
(more than enough fun for my 3rd graders, they don't care about teams too much).
~~The template for this game I got from buckybee over on a 4th grad page so thank you!

Lesson 8 part 4: Rock-Paper-Scissors game. I will give them each a strip of paper with numbers 7-12 on them along with a picture of a teacher. Students will play ask each other their age and then play R-P-S. The winner moves up one year and the loser moves down one (to go faster, only have the winner move up one and the loser doesn't move).
If you want to be simpler (and don't mind cutting paper), give each student a piece of paper that has a "1" on it (or cut out the candles from the last activity) each student gets 5 papers (5 years old) they play R-P-S with their team mate and the loser gives one paper to the winner... I saw this idea on YouTube somewhere and loved it but 28 students is too much cutting, so I made the sliding 7-12 game.

ENJOY!!

I am transferring to a new place for second semester, and I believe the students will continue to study online next fall, so I made PPTs for each lesson for the rest of the book.

I made a PPT with my voice over for this lesson. I made a similar ones for previous lessons in this book, so I will write the same there that I wrote in previous posts. The music is royalty free music from  bensounds.com.

If you would like to use this PPT and record your own voice, from the first slide my voice over is the speaker on the right. You can delete those and then record your voice. On the first slide, the speaker for the music is on the left. It is set to play at the lowest volume on a loop for the entire presentation. If you want to keep the music, don't delete the left speaker on the first slide!

Korean English Teachers: you are welcome to use this PPT with my voice for your school.

If you need to change the PPT to a video, you can use the export feature to to convert it to a mp4, however, it doesn't work with all versions of Office. The version of Office must have a subscription in order to use this feature.

This is a game I was inspired to make based on someone else's age guessing game. The original used stock photos(?), but I decided to use cartoon characters to make the game interesting and relatable to the students.

The directions are on the first two slides of the PPT. This can be a speaking only game, or a speaking and writing game to get them to practice writing the word of each number.

Feel free to tweak or change the ppt to your liking.
