Pass the Dice!

Took this PPT from a previous post and altered it for this lesson.
You just need a dice to pass around the classroom.

Team Game:

Decided to skip the Spy Game and switch it up a bit.
Students should make a team of 6 friends, with the 6 different actions.
PPT is pretty self explanatory :)

You can crown the first team to finish as the winners.. or I like to put their order up on the board (1st, 2nd, etc..) and then use a spinner or something to decide who is the lucky winning team for that round.
I like to think doing this helps them slow down a bit, instead of rushing through the dialogue and showing their cards.

Hope this helps! :)

Sit Down Game :)

Similar to Human Line Bingo, but a little different.
You just need to print the last few slides and a coin!

First team to sit down is the winning team.

11.1 - present progressive is tricky but thankfully the vocabulary words here don't have any spelling tricks.

Here's an intro PPT explaining the present progressive in a digestable way. There's a small review game. Then a Dice Game for speaking practice. Rules and materials needed are explained in the PPT. The best thing is to be encouraging and patient with this difficult chapter. :)

Happy teaching!

Here are the materials I am using for the reading day of the lesson. The PPT includes a hidden picture motivation, letters and sounds from the textbook (letter u), a human bingo game, and a reading focused hot seat wrap-up game.

Thank you to cheonanteacher, wkemp22, and yaya for your materials which I changed to fit my lesson!! You are all wonderful!

For the human bingo game I am giving each student the bingo sheet and a card with one sentence on it. The students will then use that sentence when they walk around the room answering the question!

Good luck all! Hope some of this can be useful for you! If you find any mistakes or have any questions let me know  ;D

My students have a speaking test coming up so I adapted this board game to review. It has vocabulary from chapters 7, 8, 9, and 11. When they land on a space they need to make a sentence . If they can't make a sentence they lose a turn. That part needs to be explained the other rules are in Korean on the game and English on slide 2 for teachers use.

My students are nuts about the mobile game, so I had to make something for our classes.
Plays much like Pirates of the Classroom.

I am transferring to a new place for second semester, and I believe the students will continue to study online next fall, so I made PPTs for each lesson for the rest of the book. My coteacher will also not be at my school next semester, so she won't be making any additional PPTs for the lesson. She often made other PPTs for periods 2 and 3, which I shared for the lessons in the first semester.

I made a PPT with my voice over for this lesson. I made a similar ones for previous lessons in this book, so I will write the same there that I wrote in previous posts. The music is royalty free music from  bensounds.com.

If you would like to use this PPT and record your own voice, from the first slide my voice over is the speaker on the right. You can delete those and then record your voice. On the first slide, the speaker for the music is on the left. It is set to play at the lowest volume on a loop for the entire presentation. If you want to keep the music, don't delete the left speaker on the first slide!

Korean English Teachers: you are welcome to use this PPT with my voice for your school.

If you need to change the PPT to a video, you can use the export feature to to convert it to a mp4, however, it doesn't work with all versions of Office. The version of Office must have a subscription in order to use this feature.

It turns out my coteacher did make some PPTs for online classes for the second semester, so I will post them below. I will say the same as I do for the other threads.
