I am John White. I currently live in La Crosse, Wisconsin, in the upper Midwest US. I am 54 years of age and in excellent health. I have been twice to Korea as an ESL instructor: Dec 2001 through Oct 2003 and November 2008 through Oct 2010. That's nearly 48 months of hagwon, after-school and public middle school teaching experience, in places as diverse as Ilsan, Daejeon, Yongin/Suji and Dongducheon. I was always very happy with my work and life in Korea, the happiest I have been in life, and I've chosen 2018 to return.

Significantly, I am working online through Grand Canyon University in Arizona to earn my Master's in Secondary Education, including teacher certification. I chose online studies because I will not need to pause my education while I work.
I am looking for a suburban or rural teaching location, not inside a city, but with good connections to a metropolitan area. With both US and Korea teaching experience, I am certain that a monthly income between 2.3M and 2.5M ₩ is possible.
