Editable Battle Game ( Inspired by Coin Flick)
« on: September 19, 2018, 07:55:35 AM »
Maybe someone out there  who is better at designing can use the vision I had and create a cool layout.

The basic idea is to defeat the army and capture all the castles. The students must flick the coin into the box and do whatever the target theme of the lesson is. We are practicing comparatives, so in this ppt, the students have to make a sentence using the comparative. A good sentence counts as a defeat. To ensure that the game is played to the max, the students must "defeat" the soldiers protecting the castle before they can try to capture it. Overall winner is the one that captures all castles. If time is running out, whoever has the most captures win. The coin flick game is cool. I thought the students would be a little more into it if there was a mission element added to it. My editing skills are limited tho. Maybe someone can make a cool board for it.

As for the board, the students are the Kings/ Generals. So the goal is to flick the coin to the other side. The castles and two rows of soldiers in front of them, belong to them.

Let me know what you think and suggest some improvements to the rules and stuff.
