What characteristics do you have? What do you like? You should be a/an ________! (e.g. Are you creative? Do you like painting? You should be an artist!)

I taught this to my 1st graders and it went over really well. They especially liked guessing what jobs the other students picked. There are notes inside the powerpoint presentation with additional info about how to present the material.

And I do use a reward system to incentivize students to volunteer to answer warmup questions and read their papers in the front of the class.
