I'll be making slime for my winter camps this year. You can get the PVA glue (white and clear) from major stationery stores and borax from Gmarket (search 붕사). I also have a lot of left over beads from last year when we made dream catchers so we'll incorporate them into the slime as well. You can also get glitter/sparkly things from the stationery stores
Borax : May damage fertility & May damage the unborn child This making slime recipe was used for many years in UK schools with no precautions but it is said now that the students should wear gloves and the slime shouldn't be taken home
1. It's a camp, which a lot of students are 'forced' to attend by their parents.
Sorry to ask, but what does making slime have to do with teaching English? How does this activity build the students' English speaking ability? Seems like there are much more efficient / effective methods. Or am I missing something?
Sorry to ask, but I read some forums and a lot of people actually fail in making the slime. Correct me if I'm wrong in the process:1. In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup of warm water With 1 tsp of borax2. In another bowl, add 50g of glue (the amount I will use) and add about 25g (half) of cold water and mix well.3. Then slowly add the borax solution a tsp (or a small spoonful) at a time and keep mixing. Is this the correct procedure? Or am I missing something out? Thanks in advanced =)

Some kids would rather not be there. If they had a choice they'd stay home and play computer games and cellphone games. But they are "forced" to attend by parents / the government.I'm against pandering. And I doubt the second two are that true. The amount of English learned mixing toxic borax to make slime is very minimal.
