welcome to... after school club
« on: December 24, 2018, 03:06:26 PM »
I did a theme for after school classes this semester so I didn't have to keep reaching for random ideas.
There is a popular TV show in Korea which roughly translates to "Welcome to Korea for the first time."
I decided to do the same, but for different countries around the World.
Each week they'd get an introduction to the country, a worksheet to complete, then we'd end with a game from that country.
If you have more than one class a week you can extend the game to a whole class.
Here's my one for England.

If anyone wants any of the ones I did for other countries please let me know and I'll try to post them.

Here is another lesson i did, this time for Germany, so you can get a good idea.
I apologise in advance for the use of Üter as the typical German.
I also apologise for summarising Anne Frank as "wrote a famous diary", I didn't want to over complicate it, but thought she would be good to at least make the kids aware of.
Anyway hope it works for you.
As to the guy who asked about google drive, I usually only go on waygook at school and they don't allow access to google drive. I'll try to remember to upload them to drive when I have some free time.
