Seems like similar lesson to other grade 6 books.

Here is a simple 'Ladder Game' and a YouTube video on how to play the ladder game. Good for practicing reading of the target language. You can download the pdf of the ladder game below and below is a link to the Youtube video to show the students how to play.

3 different sentences are above 3 mystery blocks. Students will write one sentence on their worksheet to choose a block. Once students are finished writing, click each block to reveal how many points they get. Gold mushrooms are worth +2 points, red mushrooms +1, and poison mushrooms -1. Students circle which mushroom they received next to the sentence they wrote on their worksheet and add up their scores at the end of the game.

The other YBM book may be similar enough to this one that you may be able to take some of those games and modify them for this book.  (Though some chapter titles may in Grade 6 instead of Grade 5 and vice versa.)  Give it a look here.

I made some games for the other YBM book.

This is an activity I invented last year (and used it for the Daegyo book). I just played it at another school with the YBM book.

It's called the Ranking Game.
Students make groups and vote in their group for their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd favorites. (i do these 1 item at a time - as students forget who they can vote for unless the pictures are on the screen) About 2 minutes to vote on a group, movie, etc. each.
Then I quiet them and ask each group "Who/what is first? Second? Third?" and record their answers on the teacher's score card.
A 1st place vote is worth 3 points. A 2nd place vote is 2 pts. A 3rd place is 1 pt. I ask each group, record it on the score card, then tally the numbers and write the ranking for that category on the board. (i will verbally list 4th, 5th and 6th.. you could write it.. but this tends to take more time)

Absolutely do not play this without changing the information on the Melon Chart page (check the current ranking for yourself, screenshot it, and add that in!). And definitely consider changing the items to vote on - depending on what year it is and what you think your students like. (For example, in a year or two from now, maybe EXO won't be popular at all at elementary school? Out of 430 ish  6th graders, EXO only got 7 votes.)
Be sure to change the name in the teacher's score card to reflect your changes.

((also you can change the figure skating example to a more recent and relevant sports game your students know about or care about))
