Hi, here is a minesweeper bomb game that I edited for this lesson.
It is NOT my game. I found it a long time ago (made by Rufus? Thank you Rufus!)
I only edited it to match this lesson :). I used it for part 2 (page 35).

Two sentences are shown on the screen. Students have 10 seconds to choose one sentence by either standing up or sitting down. When the timer goes off, students can't move. The teacher will then reveal the winning sentence and losing sentence. Both have points associated with them depending on which character is revealed. Students mark how many points they got on their sheet and those who lost have to write the sentence as well. See the notes sections in the PPT for a more detailed explanation if needed.

An elimination style reading game where all students stand up and one by one choose a box and read the word/sentence. The teacher clicks the box to reveal if they stay standing, sit down, can "heal" a friend, or "take out" a foe. The last student standing is the winner.
