Lava speaking game. Students must guide the teacher from one spot on a map to another, avoiding the lava. I played this as a group game. One group continued giving directions until they ran into lava and then the next group got a chance.
Also, pirate ship directions game I made for my summer camp. Almost the same concept. Students give directions to guide their ship from one spot on a map to the treasure, avoiding sea monsters, waves, rocks, etc.
(EDIT 2021. All this time and I had uploaded the wrong file. Well, this is the correct game uploaded now.)

Just an introductory PPT from me for this lesson as I was able to utilize some of the previous books games with minimal changes. If I do make anything else for this lesson then I'll edit this post to add it as per usual.
All Periods Intro:
Pretty self explanatory.
(Ideal for all periods)

--> Simon Says (Ideal for Period 1/2)
"Simon says turn right." - Students turn their bodies to face the right side of the classroom.
"Simon says turn left." - Students turn their bodies to face the left side of the classroom.
"Simon says go straight." Students face the front of the classroom.
*If you think your kids will be too rowdy, you can always do this with turning just their hands.*
--> Blindfolded Race (Ideal for Period 1/2)
This will be easier if you have your own classroom because you can move the desks before the kids come in, but if you go to their homeroom I would ask the teachers if it's okay to move the desks around and leave yourself time to setup.
I moved the desks around to form a map maze. Just think 5 x 5 square maze with obstacles that resemble dead ends. I split the class into two teams and one person from each team is blindfolded at their respective team sides. Their group mates have to give the blindfolded student directions to the "special prize" (I just used a soft die). First team to reach it gets a point and then it resets. This basically takes the whole class because I have about 25-30 kids per class and I wanted each student to get a chance. I also switched up some of the obstacles half way through.
No powerpoints for either, pretty straight forward directions. Let me know if you have any questions!

I made two PPTs with my voice over for lesson four. I made a similar ones for lessons one, two, and three. The PPTs are from the book's website (I think my coteacher downloaded them off of the company's website last year) and I recorded my voice over the slides. The music is royalty free music from bensounds.com.
If you would like to use this PPT and record your own voice, from the first slide my voice over is the speaker on the right. You can delete those and then record your voice. On the first slide, the speaker for the music is on the left. It is set to play at the lowest volume on a loop for the entire presentation. If you want to keep the music, don't delete the left speaker on the first slide!
Korean English Teachers: you are welcome to use this PPT with my voice for your school.
If you need to change the PPT to a video, you can use the export feature to to convert it to a mp4, however, it doesn't work with all versions of Office. The version of Office must have a subscription in order to use this feature.

Hello again! I'm finally contributing to the website after years. ^^;
This is my modification on another member's "Stomp or Clap" game. I changed it to "Clap or Snap" since kids are distance learning in their homes, and perhaps their parents wouldn't care for a ton of stomping going on in their houses. I teach via Zoom , simultaneously running the PPT with my camera video in the top left-hand corner.
This a
TRUE OR FALSE ACTIVITY
; clap if the sentence on screen is right, snap if it's wrong. And then, a correction for the incorrect sentences is given. I read along with students (if they're participating at home), ask them questions, clap and snap, call-and-response etc.
Anyway, I hope someone finds this PPT useful.

Odd letter out game to practice spelling using key expressions. Have the kids pick out the incorrect letter before time is up. In the first 2 rounds, kids pick out 1 letter. Then they pick 2, 3, and finally 7 letters in the extreme round. Enjoy!
1. Where is the museum?
2. It's on your right.
3. Where is the post office.
4. Go straight 1 block.
5. And turn left.
6. Where is the bus stop?
7. It's next to the school.

Here's a ready to use directions game. Students will have 5 seconds to memorize the positions of the places on the map. Then, they must choose the correct directions to the place. There are ten questions. I hope you can use it.

This is my activity for L4-1. Students work in pairs (and maybe one group of three) to put the cards on the map. So if there's 24-25 kids, you'll need 12 maps and 12 sets of cards (Printing the cards PPT once gives you 5 complete sets). I'll do this activity in 2 parts.
1.) The students listen to my directions, find the card on their map, and hold it up. If their card matches the "lucky card" I reveal with the PPT, they can fill a star on their map sheet. After they are comfortable with the process go onto part 2 ->
2.) The students give directions to their partner and their partner holds up the card. Then I reveal the "lucky card" like before and they can get a star if they're lucky.
This activity is to get them comfortable with the new words and primarily practice listening. I hope someone can find some use out of it!
