Hello, the private elementary school that I work for is currently hiring. It is close to Dowon station, maybe 7 minutes walking distance on foot. -Contract would be valid from time of April 1st - Feb 28th, 2020-Hours: 8:30-4:30.-6 weeks of vacation a year split between winter, spring and summer.-₩600,000 won pay for working camps. -₩1,300,000 given at the end of the contract as a compensation fee.-Minimum salary: ₩2,450,000 (this is including the housing allowance)-Housing may possibly be offered if you need it.E-2 or F-visas.In person interview required. If you are interested to learn more and apply, please email my co-teacher a picture and a resume to: apro11117@naver.com
I also noticed how they are just under 1 year so that they can get out of legally having to pay severance. Seems like a great place to work.

To legally get out of paying it.
That is correct, no severance if the contract is under a full year, 365 days.I think it has more to do with they want the next contract to start at the beginning of the next school year. Public schools throughout Korea have done this before too. Perhaps they had a teacher lined up for this March that backed out, or maybe a teacher already working at the school had to leave Korea on short notice.
