I have been struggling somewhat with this theme. I made a short vocab list. I'll post if it helps. Every time we have class I try pick up a word or two the kids ask about and add it. I haven't yet done the project in my ppt, and I may still change it. The whole idea for it was that students will make a poster about something they do not like, possibly about themselves, (for example: I don't exercise enough), and then add an affirmation telling them not to forget to whatever. (Hence the word Affirmation in my vocab, it's a little hard to explain, hence possibly changing the activity. I did have them fill in their own customer service forms (basically the same one from the book), they had to make up something they bought, received, or used at the given location (underneath the form). I told them to use a fake number, and just write what they could. I got some great replies, however my co-teacher let them use their phones to translate in class, which I thought was a bit counterproductive, but his call I guess. I also started my PPT with some slides showing different types of near and dear relationships. What could be near and dear. (ie: a person, a pet, a thing etc.), just as a sort of intro.Anyway, it's not great but I hope it helps in some way:
