The voting question is extremely confusing which will probably lead to people accidentally choosing the wrong option.

My vote is "yes" which means please change it back to how it was before.

It's much harder to find the posts I haven't read yet.
I don't know how the new format changes site performance, but ease of use has definitely decreased.
