Modified FourFootprints Halloween Lesson
« on: October 25, 2019, 10:49:26 am »
This is my adaptation of the Four Footprints Halloween lesson  (found here: https://fourfootprints.com/2011/10/esl-lesson-halloween-middle-school/ and also in a Waygook post I couldn't relocate).

I think the best part is my adaptation of the online board game (http://www.letshavefunwithenglish.com/games/halloween/index.html) referenced in the Four Footprints original lesson plan. The rules are explained in the Slides presentation.

Here's the lesson: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/14cRyXAm7_klAt6zku89Pve_1UTB_P0Km

Cheers, I'll use this for my youngest kids. I'm thinking of setting up a Station-Rotation for the older students age 14+ of the Amityville horror house, would you be interested as well?

just your basic research-video-pro/con-present evidence stuff I think, but works well if kids are allowed to use their cell phones or laptops in your class.

Cohort 2019,

Glad it will be useful!

Your horror house idea sounds cool. And although I won't have an opportunity to use it this year, I wouldn't mind seeing it. New ideas can always come in handy.
