My dad got both his knee joints replaced on the NHS. He didn't need to wait 15 months.Yes, there a lot of wrong things with the NHS but I would still rather choose that than face bankruptcy in the US system.

BOTH sides have their merits and flaws.
In the United States, if youre a winner in life, youll have access to the best health care in the world, fully covered by your employer. ...but... thats not everyone. So yeah, sadder situation for some. Also, those criticizing the American health care system dont even fully understand it and all its complexities.
