Textbook CD copyright and YouTube
« on: April 16, 2020, 02:51:58 pm »
I uploaded a video (recorded using Zoom) for my Grade 3 class to YouTube. One of my co-teachers told me that she does not think I should upload the video to YouTube because I played videos directly from the CD in my video and their may be a copyright issue. I know that the CD videos are also available online (https://webdt.edunet.net/) but the online e-books lack some features that the CD has. Does anyone know if there is a copyright issue? The video is unlisted on YouTube and I plan to delete it after a week or so.

I asked my other co-teacher if she could upload it to Classting. The homeroom teacher said that they rather want a link to YouTube because it is difficult to upload to Classting (or something like that... the video is less than 100mb in size... )
