just make sure you do these things1. stick only to the book, even if it's wrong2. only teach the useless, awkward set-phrases from the book. tell students off if they produce their own answers- they must only use the ones from the book!3. allow your korean co-teacher to immediately translate absolutely everything you say4. remember, kids have a hard life, so give them most of the answers before the get a chance to think for themselves5. play a useless bomb game at the end of lesson. again, only using the set phrases from the book. 6. never do production activities. production activities are bad!follow these steps are you will become a competent public school native teacher

i've worked with korean teachers who get stuck teaching english (as in, they've never taught it before, despite having good english) and also teachers who don't speak good english (but get lumped teaching english for the year somehow anyway). so it's no wonder they used korean
