Finally, an employer on board with offering a decent salary.

No mention of flight tickets. And very cleverly avoided to mention severance and other benefits for the full time position.
Are they (can they) going to sponsor an E2 visa during the first three months? If not then this position is for F visa holders. So not such a great salary after all.
If it's for E2s then most likely the housing will cost more than 300k. Not to mention the deposit. So the rent will offset the slightly higher salary.
Edit: Checking a previous post by the same school... Just a few months ago they were offering 2.5million and 500k for housing. So the conditions are definitely declining.

Hi, yes the conditions have changed since we last posted. And no, this wouldn't be a position for an E2 Visa unless the person were already in country and had housing of his or her own. Nothing nefarious about severance or benefits; all included. We're not new to the industry and we have many teachers who have been with us for years at this point. Thanks for the feedback.

DnC is a Korean/Foreign owned academy
Pretty sure they'd be low-balling if it wasn't for this fact

I am an in country E2 with my own housing, but the fact the housing stipend is so low would be cause for me to not consider this job.  The rest seems alright, although with the likely candidates being people that have been in Korea for awhile the hours are a bit tough.  Those are the hours I would've looked for when I first came to Korea so that I could attend the nightly staff meetings at the local mart's patio/Eden Bar and still be able to sleep in the next day.

Nothing like a foreigner hakwon to stick it to ya.  Low pay and low rent allowance.  Bunch of bs.  Hope they get the worst teachers imaginable.  So long as their thirst for greed is quenched.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to offer counterpoint, in defense of the school.  From what I have heard, the owners are good folks to work for and allow their staff to simply do the job.  To be honest, the full-time offer is not bad...not great but not bad  Though, I also heard that the staff don't teach many classes...perhaps 25-30 a week, which is how things should be.

Perhaps it is worth it, to give it a go....
