Why would anyone want to work in a country in which he/she cannot leave, when he/she wants?
People work here for 1 reason only.Money.It doesnt matter if you are a maid or a brain surgeon, high tax free salaries are the only draw.
$2500 does not seem like it would be worth living in that situation...not even $4000. If you cannot leave job/country when you choose, you are a slave. No thanks......and no thanks to S.A., its people and its culture.
risk my wife will be kidnapped/slapped with a shoe
Can gay people and apostates apply?
What? Lol
This sounds like a good bargain, but I would worry about my freedom of movement.I am not a Muslim, I don't eat pork, I don't drink, and I don't worship idols. But I am also worried about my freedom of worship. If possible I would have to live in a compound where I would be more free. But that confinement........ ....still not a goodsign for freedom of movement.
You can leave your job anytime. The labour laws here are heavily slanted to the employee.
It seems the majority of beheadings were drug related and China still takes the lead for executions (executing thousands every year, compared to Saudi's 180).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capital_punishment_in_China"England-based Amnesty International claims that Mainland China executes more people than all other countries combined,[9] though if China's very large population is taken into account, the number of executions per capita is comparable to Vietnam and Singapore, and much lower than several countries, including Saudi Arabia and Iran."
