This is so cute~~~!! Can you give me an example of how I would be able to use it with a target sentence?
@ ncrippen ...Sure no problem. I often use it after reviewing some fruit vocabulary. If I'm doing a simple role-playing game with a student I'd ask them:
A: "What fruit do you like?"
B: "I would like a ( ) please?"
A: "What should I do?"
B: "Blend it please"
A: "Here you go. Enjoy"
B: "Thank you."
Some other target sentences you may want to try:
- Would you like a ( )? Yes, I do. / No, I don't.
- Which fruit do you want? I want a ( ).
- What would you like? I would like a ( ) please.
Other role-play you can try.
Customer/Shop keeper role-playC: How much is the ( )?
SK: It's ( $ ).
C: Here you are.
SK: Thanks, enjoy!
Let me know what you've tried and how it went for you
Cheers!
