Hi,
I was hoping folks here would help guide me in some questions I have. My husband is a Korean Citizen (korean passport) and we are currently residing in Toronto. However, due to his family circumstances we may have to move to Korea for a year or so next year (summer 2021 likely). So he would have no issues woking there etc., however I have some questions about myself. Some background: I am a registered psychotherapist in Ontario, I have 4+ years of experience in this, and more than 10years of experience working with children and youth in general. I would obviously like to work in Korea when we relocate (for obvious reasons).
- Am I able to work in korea is a therapist? (I am proficient in Korean/English) what are the requirements for liscencing and registration?
- Am I able to work as a English instructor?
- I think I can enter on an F3 visa (as a spouse of a korean citizen) but I don't think I can work on an F3. Am I able to change visas once I get there after I do find work?
WOuld appreciate all insights!
