Surprised nobody's talking about this. Lady was pissed off at the store owner, so she went full carmageddon.

Will she be duly punished? Or get off with a slap on the wrist? Cops went too easy on her, I reckon.

The histrionics Koreans are capable of, all lathered up over some perceived slight. I don't know what happened here, but whatever it was it wasn't worth that.

I've never known another group to get so wound up over nothing. They really are astonishingly immature at times. And yes, this is a gross generalization, but I stand by it.

Meh...just hop on twitter and watch a bunch of lefty meltdowns.

All things considered, Korea is pretty tame.

I think it is pretty safe to say that most countries have people that have meltdowns over trivial matters.

My ex who was pretty much into psychology and dietetics told me she was convinced that the number of unbalanced people worldwide was increasing and it was directly related to the food we shove down are throats these days, what with them being loaded with all kinds of chemicals.

well she is on to something there. Junk in, Junk out.
But it isn't just food. Music, television, movies...they're all terrible these days.
no one is taught how to manage their emotions.

Gotta agree with this. I'll also add that part of the problem is everyone is told they are incredible, they can be anything they want, no one loses, no one fails, everyone gets a trophy for participation.

Precious few are incredible. You can't be anything you want to be. People sometimes deserve to fail. Winners get trophies, not the last place. When people know and understand this, as we did in my generation (there it is!) things will smooth out.

Okay, so, hate to bump this thread back up again, but I want clarification on something, lol.

I understood that the reason this whole mess started was because the offender's daughter had mailed her contest submission from the Ministop, and the package was lost somewhere along the way.

But I've just read a comment from someone saying that the store itself held a contest for children's art, but never hung up the offender's daughter's art because it was either lost or trashed.

So... which is it?
