Don't teach in Korea, come on. You want to fly half way across the world for minimum wage ? And if you do, DON'T USE A PHUCKING RECRUITER.
Honestly...go to Thailand. It's possible to enter right now, but at a great expense.You'll earn roughly the same base money (with plenty of opportunity for privates), with less than half the living cost. And you'll probably have your pick of schools if you can get into the country.There's also China. Possible to enter as well, significantly higher pay than both...but also a great cost barrier to entry.

As in, if all of these impossible conditions were met you could make that amount. You also pay more in tax in Thailand and to make 45,000TB a month would be a great salary for a Thai but unless you want to live like a Thai that's going to go fast. I made 40,000 TB a month in 2004 and I never saved. And the cost of living has gone up a fair bit. It's fine if you just want to try living in Thailand for a year. I'm at 3 million a month here and I do want I want (admittedly that hasn't included big nights out in Seoul for a long time) but I always save here. Unless you're in Bangkok or one of the saturated tourist cities (pattaya, phuket etc), 40k thb is more than enough to live comfortably...unles s you want to stay in luxury condos or mansions and eat western food everyday.
