Korean School in Qingdao, China looking for ESL Teachers

A Korean school in Qingdao, Shandong is looking for two native ESL teachers – one secondary and one elementary.

Start date: 1 March 2024
Application Deadline: 09 October 2024


Offer:
- Salary: 14-15k
- Housing: 3k monthly housing allowance
- Working hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00-16:30
- Vacation: Fully paid summer and winter vacations PLUS national holidays (± 10 weeks)
- Z Work Visa: Applicants must be citizens from the USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa to meet China’s work visa requirements. Successful applicant will be fully reimbursed for visa costs.
- Flight: Entry and exit flight allowance.
- Severance: 14k severance bonus on completion of one-year contract

Requirements:
Contract term:  1 March 2024 to 28 February 2024 (This is a yearly renewable contract)
Qualifications and experience:
1. Bachelor’s degree
2. Teacher’s license or a relevant teaching certificate – TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, etc.
3. The ability to obtain a clear criminal background check.
4. Two or more years public or private school teaching experience.
5. Applicants must be citizens from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa to meet China’s work visa requirements.

3. Copies of your qualifications - including your university degree and teaching certificate such as TEFL, TESOL, CELTA etc.
4. A document/letter proving that you have a minimum of two years teaching experience.
5. Copy of your passport (should be valid for at least two more years).
